Do Now 9/29/14

 An editorial is a article written online about a certain subject. It can cover anything from Dog breeds to about a country. Normally your teachers assign you to do a paper on a subject related to what ever you are learning in class to get some back round knowledge. Most people who go straight to Wikipedia because thats the first site they see. Well when your searching for reliable sources do not go to the first site you see.

Normally your teachers tell you not to use Wikipedia because you can go in and change the information. Did you know anyone can create and account on there and have accesses to change anything they want and make it false. So when doing a paper for school you want factual information and not fake information people make up. Its easy to just scroll threw and read some information if you are on your own and need a general over view of something but when it comes to school Wikipedia is a no no.

Teachers normally do not let us use wikipedia as a source of information. Due to the fact that people can go in a change it. I personally dont like Wikipedia because from grade school till now we have bin warred to stay off when doing research. Teachers have drilled in our heads that Wikipedia is not a reliable souse of information. So I just avoid using it when it comes to school work.  

After reading this article my thoughts have not changed on Wikipedia.I still feel that information on there is wrong unless people go in and lock that information so that its factual and true. I also feel this way because teachers have drilled in two many times to stay of it, So its became a bad habit to not believe whats one Wikipedia.  I could understand why the article is saying that Wikipedia is more of just an online encyclopedia but just online.

BlackBerry's square-screen arrives to take on take on iphone 6

• Blackberry thinks they can beat out the Iphone 6 but get this it comes out in 2 years.
• The  <a href="http://www.marketwatch.com/story/blackberrys-square-screen-passport-arrives-to-take-on-iphone-6-2014-09-24">passport</a> has 4.5 inch display. 
• In 2010 they launched the blackberry 10 but that failed due to the demand of the iphones and androids. 
• The company thinks there new phone will out beat the iphone but I doubt it.
• They are leaning more to business like features with their BlackBerry passport.
• I personally feel no other phone or company can beat apple and their products.

Microsoft OneNote Launches on Android Wear

• The new Smartwatch by Android takes a hole new level to the world of technology bringing a cool new addition with OneNote
• Of course you have to have and android phone running Android 4.3 or higher 
• The smartwatch is running around 179.99 $ at best buy
• One cool feature is that you can take pictures of documents and up load them to OneNote witch then allows you up load to power point and word
• It makes live more easier if your a Tec person me personally I rather type my own notes or write them because you never know if technology will fail.
• Plus I feel that 179.99 $ is way two much for a smartwatch. Android should lower the prices of there product so maybe more people will try it out.
• Don't forget that Android is competing with Apples smartwatch that offers a lot more for the price.

        Italian Two 

My Italian teacher name is Teresa Ianncco and she is a very inspirational person. I have taken italian one last year and know Mrs I for about 1 year and I enjoy taking her class. I know she has a daughter and a son who are both older than 20. Her family came from italy and she was born in italy. This is my second year taking italian and i love it so far. Over the summer Mrs I went to italy for 3 weeks and spent 5 weeks in france. 

I expected to learn new things in Italian like more vocabulary and more about the culture of Italy. In addition I expected to go over lessons from last year to refresh our memory. We are currently working on unit 4 vocabulary. This Thursday is our first vocabulary test on 20 words. We are expected to know how to spell the word in Italian and know the meaning of the word in english. 

Mrs I grading policy is 25% tests, 15% quizzes, 25% Formal assessments, 15%       

informal assessments, 1o% homework, and 10% classwork. I love Mrs I Italian class because you feel like your at home when your in her class room. She is a very heart warming teacher and she reminds me of my grandfather who also grew up in italy like Mrs I. I love the fact that we get to go to the Opera and go to New york and make pasta at a restorat. We use a website called senteri that has a online textbook that we use and she is able to post HW online so we don't have to bring home any thing. She also uses the online text book in class and projects it on her projector.

• I learned that if you make something you have right to copyright it and clam it yours. 
• Copyright means rights of ownership to the federal government 
• In addition I learned that when a student or teacher draws a picture or writes a paper you don't have to fill out paper work bc its already copyrighted 
• I believe that students should be able to use pictures from the internet and not have to fill out paper work. 
• Also I feel whats the point of having things copyrighted.

• Gmail suggested you change your usernames and passwords 
• Not to worry if your information was leaked they would of let you know by now 
• Its important not to open spam and trash mail because it could let hackers into your email. 
• Its very important not to reuse or repeat passwords you use for other apps 
• They are saying that a wepsite is being pasted around called IsLeaked.com but its a trick and they advise you not to click on it. Just change your passwords and you will be fine,
