Jan new blog post

Over brake I did not do much but I did enjoy the time away from school. In addition, my grandma cooked a lot of food. For example, my grandfather made a fish salad witch was amazing and delicious.Also my grandmother made fried calamari and it was to die for. I love the holidays and having the pleasure of spending it with my family that means the world to me. Even though they get in my nerves at times but I'm happy to have them in my life. Christmas is the best time in my house because of the delicious food and family traditions.

  In addition, this past saturday of the new year and old friend of mine called me. His father was asking me if I could go out to dinner for his sons Birthday  and spend it with there son. His name is Kyle and he was my eighth grade sweetheart. I miss him like crazy and it was nice to see him and spend time talking about the past. I enjoyed the time I spent with him and plan on inviting him when I go out with my family for my birthday.

Do Now 12/15/14

 This quote makes me think about working hard all your life and making a change in the person you are. Gandhi was a very smart man who achieved a lot in his life. He is not saying that you have to go out and do the things he did put to make a change in your life that will effect the world. In addition, he is an inspiration to anyone who wants to fight for what they believe in.  

I have goals that I set for myself and I believe if I work hard in my life time they will come true. Some of my goals included making enough money so that my children don't have to see me struggle with bills or have to worry. Sometimes things happen in your life that make you want to do better and go far so my children can me proud of me. Gandhi is a true inspiration for all generations to come,he shows us what change can do.  

Post Assessment

My favorite restaurant is KFC located in Hasbrouck Heights on route 17. My mother has bin working there ever since 9/11 and I grew up knowing all the managers. The workers there are very friendly and always have a smile on there faces. KFC sells fried chicken, grilled chicken, and etc. There specialty is fried chicken and there biscuits are a star favorit.

I have many favorite dishes from there very long menu. First of all, I love there chicken tenders, pop corn chicken and there original chicken breasts or legs. My favorite sides are mashed potatoes and mac in cheese. KFC has a wide verity when it comes to there menu and its hard picking a favorite dish. I have to say that there chicken littles are my favorite when it comes to lunch.


KFC is my favorite place to go an site down and eat a meal. In addition, its a good take out place if you dont want to site and just want to go home and eat. I can eat chicken all the time and not get tired of it because there is so many different types of options to choose from. Plus they have healthy chooses like there grilled chicken witch is delicious and not many calories.If you are worried about what you eat Dr Oz approves that KFC is healthy.

 If anything would ever happen to KFC my next place I would go to is Wendys . As much as I love chicken, burgers are one of my other favorites Hopefully nothing ever happens that they have to close because my mother works there.

Do Now

I would add a hole class on Italian culture. Teaching children about the way of Italy and about there customs. Students will be mandatory to go to Italy with there teacher and class. To get a better understanding of what they are learning. Instead of having midterms for our class we will go to italy and the students will show there understanding of the couture and feel of Italy. Along with the class comes a lot of fun interactive projects teaching and showing how Italy evolved into what it is today. This class will teach students that they should experiment with outside cultures besides there own.
